ANP Quarterly and Rough Trade
–UPDATES–
The Council has been busy and there are a bunch of ways you can get your LEE fix. There is a wonderful article in the new ANP Quarterly on Wierd Records. There are photos of the Council and many of their friends. You can order a subscription on the site or find a stockist near you. Pls excuse Owen’s deep thoughts on the first page.
LEE is included on the recent Rough Trade Compilation Synth Wave 10. This is an exciting partnership for them, there are a bunch of great artists on the comp (Fever Ray, Zola Jesus, Void Vision, Xeno & Oaklander, Blank Dogs, etc) and its being carried all over. You can order it online here.
For those of you in Paris stop by Colette to pick up both the Quarterly and the Comp
–IN OTHER BREAKING NEWS–
Mixing on the next EP ‘MAY’ is complete, you can expect a release in FEB of 2011. ALSO, keep your eyes peeled for a super strange and disconcerting video for Port Isabel.

Interview with Le Voyage
Le Voyage, a promising new website dedicated to minimal electronics and cold wave, asked us a few questions recently.
Mannequin Mix
Here’s an excellent mix by our friend Alessandro at Mannequin Records, just put up on the 20 Jazz Funk Greats blog. It features not only a song of ours, but several from some of our very favorites (Frank Just Frank, Chromagain, Newclear Waves, Weimar Gesang.)
The tracklisting is up on the 20 Jazz Funk Greats blog.

In the vein of yesterday’s post I wanted to draw attention to another music video composed of found footage. Certainly some great material to draw from here– killer looks & moves.
