  • The way we eat food and the way food manufacturers have so much power is akin to cigarette companies in the 50s and 60s. The worry is that they are gaining more power under the coalition government and will drive health policy similar to the US. The best example I can use is the traffic light system for food and drink which was proposed by the FSA being undermined at every opportunity by food and drink manufacturers.
