ABOUT SAOGE - the region’s leading Oil & Gas event
The Saudi Arabia International Oil & Gas Exhibition (SAOGE), the premier event for the Eastern Province in Saudi Arabia, was established to meet the requirement for the largest oil producing country in the world to host it’s own focused oil and gas show.
Held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Fahad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, The 2nd Saudi Arabia International Oil & Gas Exhibition (SAOGE 2009) which ran from November 1 to 3, 2009, has surpassed expectations and marked as the region’s leading Oil & Gas event.
SAOGE 2009 saw a total increase in attendance by 23% from SAOGE 2008, drawing more than 6800 industry representatives. It played host to 274 companies from 31 countries which included an Italian and a Chinese Pavilion. Covering a total of 9200sqm the exhibition saw global participation from all continents with 40% of exhibitors from the GCC and 60% of exhibitors from international countries.
Overall feedback has been extremely positive and confirmed that SAOGE is now an important annual meeting on the international Oil and Gas events calendar.
