DESCRIPTION

A koan (pronounced /ko.an/) is a story, dialog, question, or statement in the history and lore of Chan (Zen) Buddhism, generally containing aspects that are inaccessible to rational understanding, yet that may be accessible to intuition.

INTERFACE

Zen::Koans provides two functions:

num_koans: The number of koans available.
get_koan( $koan_number ): Returns a Zen::Koan object or croaks if any arguments are not correct.
dump_fortunes: Returns a scalar containing a valid fortune file suitable for using with the strfile utility.

Provides no analysis of the meanings of these koans.
