SHE is a good sport and can see the funny side of most situations, but Sunrise's entertainment guru Fifi Box was not impressed when a so-called friend stashed a large adult entertainment item in her carry-on luggage.
Box was taken aside after having her bag X-rayed at Melbourne airport on Tuesday while on her way to Sydney and asked by alert security about the item.
"My hand luggage went through the X-ray machine, that was not a problem. I did not see the guy checking the monitor even react," Box said.
"It was when ... I was asked, 'Excuse me miss can you open your bags for me please', and there was something in there that could not be mistaken for anything ... there was no mistaking what it was."I profusely denied any knowledge of this and then I was asked if I had packed my own bag I said, 'Yes, but I did not pack that'.
"I just went bright red."
Box is on the hunt for her faux friend who planted the embarrassing item.
"It is game on, I will find out (who did this), I will get an admission, and they will pay," she said.
The airport hiccup is the latest in a long line of dramas for Box.
She suffered a painful allergic reaction to spray tan last month, fell and split her lip while covering the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras in March, broke an ankle and later her wrist last year while Sunrise's fill-in weathergirl and suffered a bad bout of pneumonia.
