A ticket system similar to the one used at deli counters in Woolies should have been used, that would have avoided any of this stuff. Very poor form from Apple. If I had waited outside since 2am Wednesday, I would be very very angry. One can only hope they got tripped on the way out and they dropped their ill gotten gain. The best thing about that queue, which was indeed still 50 or more deep by 1130, is that 5 doors downt eh Dick Smiths had stock and no queue. I picked up a 3G/32 with no preorder and no fuss. I told a few in the queue on the way back :)
