Dutch prosecutors free Yemenis arrested for suspected terrorism

DUTCH prosecutors have freed two Yemeni men arrested amid fears they were conducting a dry run for an airline terror attack.

The national prosecutor's office said that the men had been released without charged after investigations turned up no evidence to link them to a terror plot.

"From investigations in the United States and in the Netherlands, there has been no indication of the men's possible involvement in any criminal act," the prosecution service said in a statement.

The men were arrested on Monday in Amsterdam on a United Airlines flight from Chicago following a request from US law enforcement officials.
