The ever-polarizing reality star-turned-pop singer brought her unique brand of entertainment to morning television today, performing a sexy dance remix of her single, 'Real Close,' with a harem of burly backup dancers. The result? Daytime TV magic, of course.

So, is there any chance Staub could be doing the music thing full-time from here on out? The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star recently responded to those pesky rumors that she's been fired from Bravo's popular show and assured her adoring public that we shouldn't worry too much about her. Why Going to Rehab Has Saved Lindsay Lohan's Career

By John Mitchell  Posted Aug 24th 2010 03:36PM
It's no secret that Judge Elden Fox is considering shortening Lindsay Lohan's rehab stay. According to TMZ, Judge Fox is expected to issue a decision, based upon the opinion of medical professionals at UCLA Medical Center, tomorrow morning that would release the actress from the inpatient program at UCLA and allow her to continue her treatment in an outpatient manner. The actress will reportedly be released as early as tomorrow.

According to sources close to the case, doctors overseeing the actress saw no cause to keep her in rehab for the entirety of the 90 days she was sentenced to by Judge Marsha Revel, who has since recused herself from further proceedings related to Lohan.

However, the 'Mean Girls' star is apparently livid at having had to go to rehab in the first place.

Read the 10 Most Awesome/Awful Lyrics on Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream'Our friends at Vulture have a word or two to offer about the term "awfulsome."

It's where awful and awesome meet, rub up against each other, and birth something new -- something simultaneously good and bad. Katy Perry's ecstatically, enjoyably, endearingly hollow album 'Teenage Dream,' out today, is full of lyrics that embody this term -- awful lyrics that after repeated hearings (and, there will be repeated hearings!) begin to earn some admiration for being so brazenly, so straightforwardly, so bravely ridiculous.

Consider: Thanks to Perry's unavoidably catchy 'Peacock,' in a few months Americans will be going about their business with the phrase, "I want to see your peacock cock cock cock" stuck in their heads. Is that awful? Really, really awful? Or just goofy and twisted enough to be awesome?

Mark Wahlberg Not Impressed With Drew Barrymore's Lust for His Boxer-Briefs

    Drew Barrymore & Mark Wahlberg
During one intimate scene in the upcoming 'Going the Distance,' Drew Barrymore's character engages in a fantasy over the phone with her long-distance lover and gets very hot thinking about Mark Wahlberg's iconic Calvin Klein underwear ads. You'd think Mr. Wahlberg would be flattered.

    Apparently not.

As Barrymore explains, she had a very awkward exchange with Wahlberg when he learned her character in the film lusts after him. "Oh my God, I did tell him that," she said. "I ran into him at an awards show and I told him I was just talking about how hot you are in your underwear." The former underwear model was not impressed.

By PopEater Staff  Posted Aug 24th 2010 11:57AM

Chances are, you've had a better morning than Paris Hilton, who awoke Tuesday to find a knife-wielding man attempting to enter her home in Los Angeles. She called police and the unidentified intruder was arrested. The socialite alerted her followers on Twitter about the near break-in and posted a photo of the arrest in her courtyard.

"So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes," she said. "Cops are here arresting [him]."

Sean Penn Seen With Lipstick and Big, Teased Hair

Sean Penn Sports Lipstick and Big, Teased HairJust when you thought Sean Penn couldn't get any stranger...

Our friends at StyleList spotted this magnificent photo of the 50-year-old actor in Dublin, likening him to a made-over Susan Boyle.

Either his years of being married to sexual-envelope-pusher Madonna have finally caught up with him or the man is going through some sort of midlife crisis, perhaps?

Actually, neither. Penn, who walked the streets of Dublin in bright red lipstick, long earrings, and big, teased hair, was shooting a scene for his new movie, 'This Must Be the Place,' reports the Daily Mail.

In the film, he plays -- no, not a really ugly woman -- but a wealthy rocker hunting for the man who killed his father, an ex-Nazi war criminal.
