World Bank Warning On The Impact Of Rising Food Prices
World Bank President Robert Zoellick warns of the threat posed by rising food prices world-wide. Zoellick he stressed that food prices would be at the top of the agenda, and that the international community must make agriculture a priority. Brandishing a sack of rice to make his point, World Bank president Robert Zoellick told reporters in Washington that rice prices have jumped 75% globally...and that's in the last two months. In Bangladesh, a 2 kilogram bag of rice now costs half of a family's daily income. The price of rice is likely to rise again.

Rising Food Prices - The World Bank
Rising Food Prices - The World Bank
High food prices are threatening recent gains in overcoming poverty and malnutrition, and are likely to persist over the medium term, says a new World Bank Group policy note released today. "Poor people are suffering daily from the impact of high food prices, especially in urban areas and in low income countries," said World Bank Group President Robert B. Zoellick. "In some countries, hard-won gains in overcoming poverty may now be reversed. As an international community we must rally not only to offer immediate support, but to help countries identify actions and policies to reduce the impact on the world's most vulnerable." According to Rising Food Prices: Policy Options and World Bank Response, increases in global wheat prices reached 181 percent over the 36 months leading up to February 2008, and overall global food prices increased by 83 percent. Food crop prices are expected to remain high in 2008 and 2009 and then begin to decline, but they are likely to remain well above the 2004 levels through 2015 for most food crops.

The World Bank Energy Efficiency Plans In Developing Countri
www.dailyenergyreport.com; Energy efficiency is on the top of many people's minds at The World Bank. 86% of all future energy needed will be coming from developing countries. Jas Singh, Senior Energy Efficiency Specialist for the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) in The World Bank talks to us about the challenges developing countries face when trying to develop an energy efficient nation. According to Singh's latest work, "Public Procurement of Energy Efficiency Services Lessons from International Experience," it is important to review the efforts made by developing countries when putting together a plan for third world countries and other developing nations. But he is clear to point out that every situation is different and it takes a lot of understanding of a specific country's culture and personality to find the best solutions.

MaximsNewsNetwork: MONGOLIA: RURAL WATER WELLS & CLINICS (THE WORLD BANK)
MaximsNewsNetwork: 02 February 2010 - The World Bank: Mongolia - Mongolians are making improvements to vital services in rural areas through funds which pay for amenities that local communities decide they need the most such as water wells and traveling clinics. Water can be hard to find during Mongolias freezing winters. Plenty of it from dug wells is a welcome sight to the countrys thousands of herders and the millions of livestock they live off. Herder Batjargal, a father of four, says that this recently rehabilitated well is the only source of running water his family and their 700 heads of livestock have. SOUNDBITE (Mongolian) Batjargal, Camel Herder: This well we use for everything, for our daily use of water and for our livestock, and it is same for the other herders around this area. Batjargal and other herders proposed the renovation of the once-defunct well in their area, under Mongolias Sustainable Livelihoods Project, funded by the World Bank, European Union and Japanese Government. The projects Community Initiatives program gathers rural community members and lets them decide what initiatives to finance with program funds. Under the initiatives fund, rural communities are involved in the upgrading of small but vital infrastructure projects like the wells and hospitals. SpotEuro Forex Daily Outlook November 8, 2010
SpotEuro Forex Daily Outlook November 8, 2010
We continue to see market volatility as concerns within the EU continue to weigh on the euro. The dollar had a very bullish rejection of 1.4300 vs. the euro and we are looking for a confirmation and further dollar rally against the European counterpart. We've been discussing the possibility of dollar rally for the past several months and after several rejections above 1.40, we may now see continuation; however, a confirmation of a close below 1.3750 is a must. The market reaction to a doomsday dollar following further monetary easing by the Federal Reserve, in our opinion, has been an over-reaction. Most noteworthy, we want to point out that the United States doesn't have any problems attracting capital at such low interest rates. The problems may arise when the Fed begins to unwind their holdings. At that time, interest rates may have to go up in order to offset the supply. Until we see a major fundamental trend change in TICS data, the market can only speculate as to what will happen down the road. With that being said, anything can happen and the trick to successfully trading forex is the ability to adapt to current market trends. Courtesy of CNBC: The Biggest Holders of US Government Debt 10. Insurance Companies - $260.6 billion 9. Depository Institutions - $273.7 billion 8. United Kingdom -- $448.4 billion 7. State and Local Governments -- $534.7 billion 6. Annual Meetings: Europe and Central Asia Economic Update
World Bank economists note in concrete, dire numbers what people across emerging Europe and Central Asia are living with daily: The financial crisis in the region is far from over. The numbers are bleak. 11.4 million across the region are unemployed, as opposed to 8.3 million last year. Poverty rates will rise by 15 million...before the crisis hit, economists figured 15 million people would climb out of poverty this year.

POLICE ABUSE WORLDWIDE !!! INCREASING DAILY, WORSE THAN EVER !!! THERES NOTHING YOU CAN DO !!!
The Lord's words to the bride about the addition of the New Law, and about how that same Law is now rejected and scorned by the world, and about how bad priests are not priests of God but betrayers of God, and about their malediction and damnation. Book 1 - Chapter 47 SAINT BRIDGET PATRON SAINT OF EUROPE PART III But when he finds the right opportunity and place, he brings against her three treacherous weapons. Either he uses something heavy enough to kill her with one blow, or sharp enough to slice right through her vital organs, or else something to smother and suffocate the spirit of life in her directly. Then, when she has died, the traitor thinks to himself: 'Now I have done wrong. If my crime comes out in the open and becomes public, I will be condemned to death.' Then he goes and puts his wife's body in some hidden place, so his sin will not be discovered. This is the way I am dealt with by the priests who are my betrayers. For they and I are bound by a single bond when they take the bread and, by pronouncing the words, change it into my true body, which I received from the Virgin. None of the angels can do this. I have given that dignity to priests alone and have selected them for the highest orders. But they deal with me like betrayers. They put on a happy and pleasant face for me and lead me to a hidden place where they can betray me. These priests put on a happy face by appearing to be good and simple. They lead me to a hidden chamber by approaching the altar ...
