It starts with some squeegie boys from Quebec, here to make it big in Vancouver. Unfortunately, they are chased out by the mayor, Mr. Ritch Krotch. Here’s a picture:

Now chased by the self-mutilating priest of maybe Mayan maybe Aztec boys and girls. We can’t tell the difference because we only studied FORGEIN languages. There is a dumb rock concert and more bad. Squeegie boys detach all of Yukon and sail it to xenophobic samurai land of Japan during time of SAKKOKU. They say: “We don’t hate you, but we already have an overflow human infestation, so please go.” So they go to MID-EVIL IN-GLAND. They land on top and everyone has to dig themselves out. On January 17, DUPOBS collaborated with Synaptic Sandwich to celebrate the birthday of art during CITR Radio’s 24 Hours of Radio Art. The three-hour performance – podcast on CITR – begins with twenty minutes or so of Tokyo commuter-train ambience, and a sci-fi monologue of dubious quality. Gradually, the ambient soundtrack is overlaid with synthetic noise, somewhat reminiscent of the highway scene from Andrei Tarkovky’s Solaris. Then DUPOBS and Synaptic Sandwich pull out all the stops for perhaps an hour of atmospheric, inspired chaos – somewhere between Violent Onsen Geisha, Plunderphonics, and the weirder moments of Skinny Puppy. The final hour or so is perhaps less inspired, but also has its moments. Here’s what part of the event looked like:
