energy

Energy is a force that can come from many different sources including wind, oil, and even food. Energy as defined by physics is the amount of work that can be accomplished by a force and has many forms including kinetic, thermal, light, and electromagnetic.

Energy from natural resources runs the technology around the world. The rapid depletion of natural sources of energy from gas and oil has led to a push for green energy technology and renewable energy sources like wind and solar power. Conserving energy can be done by using a more fuel efficient car, riding a bike, or lighting your home in the evening with slow burning eco-friendly soy candles that emanate light for hundreds of hours.

Energy for the human body comes from food and is burned in the mitochondria of our cells. A basic equation for weight loss is energy from calories burned must be greater than the energy from calories consumed in a day. The process can be sped up with a fat loss workout using exercises to increase metabolic rate which will force the stored energy in fat tissue to be utilized.
