The Great 'American Idol' Shakeup is moving full speed ahead following Thursday night's bombshell that Ellen DeGeneres is leaving the show. Now, there are reports Jennifer Lopez -- no stranger to 'Idol' judging rumors -- is close to inking a deal to replace the departing DeGeneres.

Though Team Lopez and FOX officials have not yet commented, a Deadline Hollywood source claims the singer's manager has been working on the deal "under the utmost secrecy" for a month. The AP is reporting the same, citing a person familiar with the negotiations.

Mark Wahlberg landed his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, and brought his wife, model Rhea Durham, and four children with him to celebrate. Photos showed Wahlberg looking dapper and proud during the momentous occasion.

"I'm so happy my kids are sitting through this," Wahlberg said, according to the BBC. "When I heard I was getting this star, I felt like it was a practical joke." The 39-year-old actor's children, from left to right, are Ella Rae, Grace Margaret, Brendan Joseph and Michael.

Less than a day after Ellen DeGeneres announced her 'American Idol' departure, TMZ is reporting Kara DioGuardi has "been fired," citing sources connected with the show's negotiations for next season, which will mark the singing competition's tenth installment.

"We're told the show will be going back to a three-judge format and assuming all deals are finalized, the judge's panel will consist of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler," TMZ writes, adding that Kara's only chance at staying on 'Idol' is "if the J-Lo deal falls apart -- but we're told that deal is done."

While reports have claimed cushy conditions for Lindsay Lohan in jail, her mother, Dina Lohan, says it ain't so -- and that LiLo doesn't even have a pillow.

"She doesn't have cell phone privileges, that's absurd. She doesn't even have a pillow to sleep on," Dina told RadarOnline.com yesterday. "I talk to her through glass. There's a phone and we put her on speaker, but I can't even hug my daughter. She's treated like a common criminal."

That said, Dina did admit that the guards and inmates have been "pretty cool" to Lindsay.

In March, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy called it quits after a year of dating and lots of public affection. Since the breakup, those following celebrity romances have been waiting to hear whom the bodacious brunette would snag next. And according to UsMagazine.com, the lucky winner is actor/director Alex Beh.

"She's so into him," a pal of the 31-year-old actress reveals to the magazine. "It's relatively new," the source adds.

The pair was recently seen sharing a romantic dinner at sushi hot spot Katsuya in Los Angeles. "They're really cute together. They were holding hands the whole night!" said the pal.

After just one season, Ellen DeGeneres is bowing out as a judge on 'American Idol,' FOX announced in a statement Thursday. After the news hit, DeGeneres tweeted, "Dim the lights ... I've voted myself off American Idol."

"A couple months ago, I let FOX and the 'American Idol' producers know that this didn't feel like the right fit for me," DeGeneres said in the FOX statement. "I told them I wouldn't leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next.

"It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on 'Idol' and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be."
