We all know that red velvet cake is the BEST (no arguing!) but what about blue velvet? Does it taste like berries with a hint of mint? Does it make inappropriate comments while you eat it like Dennis Hopper (RIP) in Blue Velvet? I’d still be willing to give it a chance even so, I love David Lynch.

How efficient and ecologically minded of this snack to be a utensil and edible! I love salty, smooth peanut butter mousse and super light crispy chocolate cookies, this combo is stellar! And can you beat the sprinkles? Can anything beat sprinkles? Even Superman and The Hulk couldn’t take down a dessert with sprinkles, it’s too powerful!

Oh unicorns! So majestic, so rare, so mysterious! These guys are the best! They’re super powerful and magical and stuff, and they can totally shoot lasers out of their horns and save princesses and they are AMAZING bakers! They made these, I swear. This reminds me of those old stop motion animations they’d have on Sesame Street where the random shapes and colors would dance around and come together to spell things and make larger shapes. I’m glad these particular sprinkles decided to come together to form an awesome cookie with a party on top. I’d like to go to that party.

My only real ice cream flavor weakness is fresh strawberry and oooooh these sammiches have such amazing looking strawberry ice cream in them! I love finding a big hunk of icy, juicy berry in a bite, makes me feel like I’m not really loading up on fatty sugary goodness. How did they get the cookies and the ice cream to have such perfectly matched up scalloped edges? Amazing. Want.

Scooby! I suspect that a good portion of this cake is solid fondant and not actually “cake” but it sure is cute! I spent countless hours watching Scooby Doo on weekend mornings and weekday afternoons while I ate peanut butter toast. Though I have to say, I think things really went downhill when they introduced Scrappy. He was no Robin the frog, no Luke Brower on Growing Pains, Seven on Married… With Children, Olivia on the Cosby Show, Becky #2 on Roseanne… obviously the list goes on. What I’m trying to say is, Scrappy Doo can suck it.

Inspired by making fruit kebabs, a crafty mom realized that fruit on a stick is the perfect substitute for a nothing-but-sugar popsicle. I don’t have kids but I’m tempted to do this just for myself. Chilled melon on a stick sounds so refreshing and so much better than sticky sugar water, I need to get myself some cookie cutters! What do you think, guys, can we expand on this idea? can we make it even tastier? More fun? Healthier? Cuter?

This turtle bun is so lumpy and cute munching on his lettuce with a little derp going on with the eyes there. He looks healthy too, maybe whole wheat? Honey wheat maybe? Is he a sweet turtle bun? (I mean, OBVIOUSLY)

Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Poor bunny! These little bunny shaped sugar lumps are so precious they should be in a stop-motion animated feature about the dreary malaise of living in the modern world. In the end of course they would meet their inevitable fate, being dunked in coffee for the edification of sadistic cuteitarians. But isn’t it worth it? Aren’t we worth it, slogging through this life, searching high and low for cute? We deserve to have cuteness be a part of our everyday routine, and if that means sacrificing a few sugar bunnies along the way, so be it.
