There are a lot of old computers out there going to waste. We can rebuild them.

And by “we,” we really mean you. Because when you volunteer with Boulder Community Computers you have the chance to build computers using the parts salvaged from old ones. If this sounds complicated, don’t worry: we’ll teach you what you need to know.

Taking apart computers not your thing? No problem; we’ve many needs. We’re particularly looking for a couple of people to help get our website up to snuff. We need photographers, artists and journalists, so if you’ve any of those skills get in touch with us and we’ll find something for you to do. If business management is more your thing, we’ve love some help coordinating volunteers and setting up an online store.   Enjoy teaching?  You can help facilitate our classes and eventually lead them.

You can even earn yourself a computer by volunteering with us. You help us, we’ll help you.

Our volunteer hours are every Wednesday and Saturday from 12 to 5pm.  Walk-ins are welcome but if you sign up we’ll put you on the volunteer newsletter so you’ll be alerted to cancellations.
