Remember being a kid and the excitement that came along with ordering a Happy Meal from McDonald's and knowing a racecar or princess toy would be inside?

Well, McDonald's may be in big trouble for that.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest says McDonald's is luring children toward unhealthy eating habits by offering toys, and may bring a lawsuit against the fast food giant for breaking their agreement not to market calorie packed meals to kids.

Mickey D's doesn't see anything wrong with adding a toy inside a Happy Meal box and they're slamming such accusations.

"CSPI's twisted characterization of McDonald's as 'the stranger in the playground handing out candy to children' is an insult to every one of our franchisees and employees around the world," the company's CEO James Skinner said.

"I want you to know we will vigorously defend our brand, our reputation, our food, and our people. CSPI is wrong in its assertions and frivolous in its legal threats," he continues.

Now this is a political campaign with real bite.

Woodrow, a hound mix, is going up against Democrat Bill White and Republican Rick Perry for the Texas Governor's seat. His slogan, "How ruff could it be?" has already won him an endorsement from Kinky Friedman, a human who formerly had a bid in for Governor himself.

The pooch's Web site calls him "a loyal, loving, fair, honest candidate for Governor" and continues, "Isn't that what Texas needs? Woodrow never a met a dog he didn't like. Once homeless and down on his luck in the animal shelter, he wants to show Texans that great things can happen to anyone, even dogs, when given a chance."

The goal of Woodrow's campaign is to bring attention to animals who are in desperate need of a home. Woodrow's owner, Lorri Michel, is using his political career to raise money for Austin Pets Alive, an organization of volunteers who daily rescue as many animals as they can from a local shelter's kill list.

Taylor Swift launched her first set of American Greetings cards earlier this year, and now the 20-year-old star has a whole new collection of stationery that's perfectly suited for the summer.

Written and inspired by the singer herself, the new line has 14 fresh designs that echo Taylor's honest sentiments and cover plenty of occasions. The summery images have a "traditional with a twist" look, and each card comes with a numbered butterfly icon, which is great for fans who want to collect each of the 43 cards in Taylor's line.

"I've always been fascinated by feelings and how we express them to each other," Taylor said. "Getting to write and design these cards is a wonderful experience."

One of the cards in the collection features "13 Happy Things," which is a reflection of Taylor's lucky number 13. Another one of our favorites boasts a big red heart on the cover and says: "Confession -- when we first met I kinda felt like I was going to pass out every time you smiled at me. That's how into you I was... and that's how into you I still am."
