Logically speaking, love between two people will never be so deep that you actually complete one another. The statement "you complete me" is a misconception that has been a pet peeve of mine since Tom Cruise uttered the silly words in 'Jerry Maguire' back in 1996. Attempting to use the love from another to fill a void within yourself has to be absolutely one of the worst mistakes you can make when getting into a relationship.

Incomplete people create incomplete relationships. There needs to be a sense of oneness with self before looking for you start looking for love. If you don't have that, you end up believing happiness and contentment are gained through a relationship with someone else. This leads to disappointment -- nobody is perfect, including your mate.

'Avatar' starlet Zoe Saldana and longtime beau Keith Britton are tying the knot, according to Us Weekly. The couple, who have been dating for 10 years, are keeping the engagement hush-hush. "She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress," says a source. Friends say Saldana is "thrilled" to be getting married to actor and CEO of My Fashion Database. Congrats to the lovely couple!

R&B crooner, producer and songwriter Ne-Yo may be dropping an album this September, but that's not the only thing the singer is expecting to do in the near future. According to EBONY magazine, Ne-Yo will soon be a father! The 'Year of the Gentleman' singer announced that his longtime girlfriend, Monyetta Shaw, is pregnant with his first child and due in January.

My husband and I were married for four years when we allowed his grown son, girlfriend and child to move in temporarily with us. From the first week I became the outsider in my own home. His girlfriend waited on my husband hand and foot (he loved it); I worked a full-time job and she sat on my couch all day reading. Of course, I was resentful and voiced my opinion. She would cook for 3 people knowing there were four adults in the home, and she wouldn't do any housework. When I complained, I was the bad guy. My husband agreed with me behind closed doors that they were being disrespectful to me, but would not say it to them. On my birthday I gave them notice that they had a month and a half to move out, and 2 days later my husband threw me out and changed the locks on the doors. She told him she was afraid of me. Two weeks later he filed a domestic violence charge against me, which will stay on my record. The judge made him move out and gave me the house until the divorce is over, so he now lives in an apartment. My biggest problem is, I still love him and would love nothing more than to have my old husband back. He says he loves me but can't live with me because of his family. How do I move on knowing I still love him, and that he loves me. He won't even talk to me on the phone. I feel it's because he still loves me and is afraid to give it a chance because of his family.
