Mark Davison is a Professor in the Faculty of Law at Monash University. He is a co-author of Shanahan’s Australian Law of Trade Marks and Passing off, the leading Australian reference work on trademark law. Mark is a member of the intellectual property committee of the Law Council of Australia, and special counsel with Knightsbridge Lawyers. He is a winner of an Australian Research Council grant investigating the interpretation of the TRIPS agreement and has written the trademark chapters for the forthcoming book entitled ‘Commentary on the TRIPS agreement’. He has given advice to the Cancer Council Victoria about plain packaging.
