Feature: Rethinking the International Monetary Fund

April's G20 meeting of global leaders put the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at center stage in fighting the global economic crisis, following long-standing calls for a rebalancing of power within the IMF and a rethinking of its role. The second event in AEI's series discussing global economic architecture featured a keynote address by John Lipsky, the IMF's second in command, followed by two panels exploring how the IMF needs to be reformed to make it more relevant in today's changed global economy.
