ORANGE 94.0 is Community Radio. Free access to the medium radio is one of the basic principles at ORANGE 94.0. It is our aim to especially support groups and subject matters which may otherwise not gain much publicity and which are under-represented or not at all represented in mainstream media – these include, for instance, ethnic, social and linguistic minorities, children, teenagers and women, with all their interests and needs. We decidedly and purposely exclude subject matters disregarding and violating human rights and sexist, racist and fascist subject matters as well as groups which programmatically represent these subject matters.

If you decide to get involved in producing a radio programme you do so on a voluntary basis – this means: you do not receive money for the programme you contribute. Quite the contrary: ensuring the mere existence and independence of community radio requires the financial support of both the radio producers and the listeners.
