A family of Central African Republic refugees awaits visiting U.N. undersecretary general John Holmes on Friday near their hideout in the bush near the village of Otah. Holmes, who ended his trip to the region that also brought him to Sudan's Darfur and to Chad vowed to raise international efforts for the CAR's 210,000 internal refugees, which he described as the victims of one of Africa's most neglected crisis.
