Influenced by females in HipHop such as MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Bohamadia and Lauryn Hill and pop artist Neneh Cherry. Mirrah had also other music genres and artists who now is apart of her eclectic musical spirit, the likes of 80's Madonna, Prince, Bangles,The Divinyls, and Annie Lennox to name a few.
MIRRAH started rhyming as a poet in elementary, then moved to London England and was influenced by the ragga chat bout and then the male emcees delivery who surrounded her on record and in clubs. MIRRAH used to be dancer for many signed acts in the past which she would not care to share, and was able to express her thoughts from poem to then in turn become rhymes in a structured song. "The first day I delivered a rap that was mines, not vibing along to my favorite artist was an amazing feeling and to hear my vocal was, wow thats me? Oh shit I sound like a dude" lol then MIRRAH was like, "oh well."
MIRRAH kept writing and met fellow female MC's and had fun learning to freestyle, and more so loved the energy others would deliver and express to the crowd. Growing up with Flavor Flav as her best friend since she was a teenager, from a tour Public Enemy did in her hometown Sydney, Australia. MIRRAH's stage influence became and still is electrifying and animated.
MIRRAH at present has her official album titled " Life, Love, and Music" which has been remixed by her Sydney based Dj, DJ MISTA KILLA, is a musical journey into MIRRAH's personal life, love; be it from good and bad experiences and how music is connected to both life and love. It will leave you knowing her as a your new best friend.
