This week will be the last issue of both the Germantown Courier and Mount Airy Times Express which succumbed to the triple whammy of the recession, hard times for print media,and the poor health of its parent, the Journal Register Company which is closing other weeklies i the city as well. Here Editor Karl Biemuller talks about the situation and expresses confidence that people in the community, especially the Mount Airy community associations will rally to fill the void.

Just about the entire point of such Resolutions is to "send a message" to the public and create discussion.
