Renowned anti-nuclear champion and Nobel-nominated Dr. Helen Caldicott has launched a new one-hour, weekly public affairs radio show called "If You Love This Planet."
The first show aired on Monday July 14 at 7:00 PM.

"If You Love This Planet" explores the many dangers of nuclear weapons, nuclear power, climate change and global environmental crises, and explores real solutions to these problems.

Mon. 7/28 - Yoga For Peace with hosts Roslyn Earle and Suzy Shapiro and guest Gary Kraftsow, a leading source on yoga therapy in the United States today.  Gary has collaborated on projects with the Arthritis Foundation and in the fields of physical therapy education and mental health.  He is also the author of two best-selling books on yoga therapy.

The 3rd Annual “Christmas in July/Back-to-School Health Fair” will be held on July 26, 2008 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.  

This event is given each year by Community Affairs and this year we are partnering with Prince Recreation Center, Target Hunger and KPFT 90.1 FM Radio.

The event is open to the community and we will distribute toys, school supplies, clothes and boxes of food to children/families along with health screenings and immunizations.

In addition there will be a free concert, guest speakers, dance teams and prizes.
