Heart to Heart CD– A Tribute to Lisa Bellear

Heart To Heart CD CoverThis commemorative CD celebrates the life and poetry of 3CR broadcaster Lisa Bellear (1961 – 2006) with its recording of poetry readings from Reconciliation Poetry evenings held at La Mama Poetica over the last few years.


3CR holds a limited number of CDs and interested people can obtain one for a donation by emailing 3CR.

3CR'S Beyond the Bars 2008 Project

3CR Beyond the Bars Poster 3CR Indigenous broadcasters are currently conducting workshops in three Victorian prisons as part of 3CR's unique Beyond the Bars Project.

These music and spoken word workshops will culminate in  live radio broadcasts during NAIDOC (National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee) Week from 7 - 11 July. Read on and see what's on when...

Radiothon Pay Up Time!

Gardening Show Radiothon is (nearly) over!!

Thankyou to everyone who supported this year's Radiothon. Make sure you pay up soon so you can collect your prizes and tax deductible receipts. Go here for information on how to pay.

Join 3CR programmers, friends, volunteers and staff at the Knock Off Drinks on Friday 20th June from 5pm at the British Crown Hotel (14 – 16 Smith Street, opposite 3CR). This is a 3CR Fundraiser with 50c from each drink and $2 from each meal going to 3CR. All welcome!

3CR's popular Gardening Show (pictured) have yet to have their Radiothon. Tune in from 7.30 am- 10.00am this coming Sunday 22 June for the chance to win one of many fabulous gardening prizes.

3CR at Elgin Street Live

ImageOn June 4th at 20 Elgin Street the Carlton community came together to create a mass group photo of Carlton housing estate residents past and present.

3CR joined the party with an internal broadcast called Elgin Street Live which could be heard throughout the event. Carlton housing estate residents Phoebe Belbin and Maurice Milroy, as well as 3CR’s own Pilar Aguilera (pictured above with resident Maria on the left) and Mohammed El-leissy hosted Elgin Street Live, taking their microphones into the crowd to listen to residents’ thoughts and feelings about many aspects of existing and upcoming redevelopments in the Carlton Housing Estates.
