Rodney Brooks has received the AAAI Classic Paper Honorable Mention
Rodney Brooks, Panasonic Professor of Robotics at CSAIL, has received the Association for Advancement of Artificial Intelligence's (AAAI) Classic Paper Honorable Mention for his work as second author on a paper he and Patricia Maes, Associate Professor at the MIT Media lab, co-wrote and presented at the 8th National Conference on Artificial Intelligence in 1990, entitled "Learning to Coordinate Behaviors". Papers are judged based on their impact in the artificial intelligence community. The award will be presented in Chicago at the AAAI 2008 conference on July 15th .
