Needs to be kept set to Title + Teaser and NOT Full Text, so that we don't hog feature lists other IMC sites.

Hello friends,

Well it's me again with my semi-annual request for donations to help pay the hosting bill for the Oklahoma Independent Media Center (www.okimc.org).

We have moved the site to a new server*.

We were already planning the move, but there were some technical problems with the database that caused us to rush a bit.

In working out those issues along with the move, there may be some glitches. Please report any errors or unusual behavior in comments to this post.

Only the front page feed is working. Even the ones on the sitemap page don't. I'm thinking this may be a factor of Views.

Welcome to the new OKIMC! We have switched the software running our site (to Drupal), an open-source community-building content management system that runs tens of thousands of sites, and is extremely well documented.

We hope the new interface and features offered by Drupal will help more folks publish content here and get more involved in our work. It will certainly make the backend operations of our site, used by members acting as editors and moderators, more accessible.

We're still in transition, and the old content has not been imported yet (we probably will only bring over Oklahoma-related posts). In the meantime, those archives can be accessed here.

I changed the path, in order to alter content type for nodes created out of feed items from blog to story (since story is type we use for all regular news items). Also the alt text for the icon. There's still some title text and whatnot that says" blog", but functionally it works for our setup.

Note: if you DO want to make it a blog type for a post to your Site Log, just re-edit the resulting link in the browser address field back to "blog"
