Web site survey:  As a part of our on-going activity to improve the quality of the Access Board web site, we have added a survey of user satisfaction.  The survey will pop up randomly and asks you to complete several multiple choice questions.

Rights-of-Way Accessibility Guidance on accessible streets and sidewalks is available from the Board. (February 26)

Sidewalk Videos A video series on accessible sidewalks is now available online. (January 24)

Board Members President Bush names new members to the Board. (December 13)

Airport Accessibility The Board explores aspects of airport accessibility at recent meeting. (December 12)

Outdoor Developed Areas The Board receives input from the public on guidelines it proposed for Federal parks and recreation areas. (December 12)

Committee on Emergency Housing A newly formed advisory committee on emergency transportable housing holds its first meeting. (October 25)

Vessel Alarms Committee A new advisory committee examining access to vessel emergency alarm systems begins work. (October 25)

Rights-of-Way Design Guidance A new guide on achieving access in street and sidewalk alteration projects is now available. (August 31)

Proposed Guidelines The Board has published for public comment new guidelines for Federal trails, beach routes, and picnic and camping areas.  The guidelines are available for comment until October 18, 2007. (June 20, updated August 17)
