W3C Glossary and Dictionary

Welcome to the unified W3C Glossary and Dictionary. This tools aims at gathering as many useful glossaries as possible, proposing a set of terms and their definitions, and their translations when available.

In the context of this tool, a glossary is understood as a set of terms and their definitions, and is bound to the source document where these definitions are set (the said terms and definitions are in US English, the working language of W3C). A dictionary is a set of terms and their translations in a given language. A concept is the idea behind the words conveyed by a term and its definition.

You can search the full glossary/dictionary, check one of the subglossaries (alphabetical or by source).
