Tsukiji, the great Tokyo Market, has become over the years an unmissable part of any visit of the city. It takes courage, however, to come and observe the tiny alleys buzzing with activity, to see the fish and vegetables at their freshest, to witness the mystique of tuna auctions. That means a very early morning… Or a very late night.

Un piano, des oeuvres d'art, une clientèle variée, du salaryman fatigué au jeune "à la mode" avec son t-shirt jaune pétard et son bonnet arc-en-ciel, en passant par les inévitables femmes de riche; un artiste timide qui me tend un carton d'invitation pour son expo… à Paris!, puis s'enfuit sans demander son reste… Un café en compagnie de mon ami…
