Presidential Candidates Get Specific on Trade

Arthur Stamoulis / Oregon Fair Trade Campaign, 14.05.2008 - 09:11
American Public Wants FAIR TRADE National polling results released May 1 by the Pew Research Center found, "There is now broad agreement that free trade negatively affects wages, jobs and economic growth in America. By greater than six-to-one, the public says free trade agreements result in job losses rather than in new jobs." More so, a greater majority of independent voters had a negative view of the impact of free trade than registered Democrats.

Southern Oregonians are active in the Oregon Fair Trade Campaign (ORFTC) and citizens in the State of Jefferson (Northern California, too!) stand in unity with the FAIR TRADE WORK being done by ORFTC. Check out the newest report...

Jackson County votes for Censorship & Ignorance

INDEPENDENT MEDIA WEEK - 2008, 06.04.2008 - 11:07
Keeping Citizens Uninformed Jackson County (located in Southern Oregon on the California border and I-5 corridor) gained new distinction in April, 2008 when elected officials decided NOT to support a proclamation for "Independent Media Week - 2008".
