Mission of Euro-India ICT Co-operation Initiative

It is time we understood the precise Information & Communication Technology (ICT) RTD reality and its potential for effecting EU innovative potential in a more systematic way. The Euro-India ICT Co-operation project aims to do precisely this!

Research, Training and Development (RTD), is increasingly being acknowledged as an important driver for firm level innovation and policy dialogue between nations. The Euro-India project strengthens such an endeavor, consolidating efforts made by EuroIndia2004 and MONSOON and extending it to specific knowledge mapping initiative funded by the EU, to explore and understand firm level competencies of Indian technology development.
The Euro-India ICT Co-operation project has three key objectives
  • To systematically map the ICT RTD competencies’ of India
  • To support EU-India policy dialogue using the data generated
  • To disseminate European funding opportunities for Indian ICT players through info days.
The first Euro-India ICT Co-operation Information Day is taking place on Tuesday 22nd April 2008 at the IISc Bangalore. Learn how you can get involved in European funded projects from the experts.
