Table of contents: Upcoming Advisory Committee and Technical Plenary Meetings |
One of the most valuable benefits of W3C Membership is the opportunity for participants to develop working relationships with colleagues in many organizations, in many parts of the world. To bring people together and foster these relationships, W3C organizes several Membership-wide meetings each year (see the upcoming schedule below):
W3C has also organized special Membership-wide meetings to celebrate W3C's Tenth Anniversary (in the USA and France). W3C is planning another anniversary celebration in Japan in the fourth quarter of 2006.
W3C Members and Team also present W3C work in talks at many external conferences and W3C has a strong presence -- the "W3C Track" -- at the annual World Wide Web Conference, although W3C does not run that conference. The public is invited to attend, to ask questions, to give feedback, and to talk with the Members and Team. For information about the next one, check the International WWW Conference Committee home page.
This is upcoming schedule of W3C Advisory Committee and Technical Plenary meetings. Except where marked as "under consideration," dates and locations are set for planning purposes and any changes will be posted well in advance of the meeting. W3C Members may also view the Member calendar (Member-only) for scheduled meetings of W3C Working and Interest Groups.
