April Fools Hack at CSAIL

CSAIL Announcements

Ron Wikens' gardenRon Wiken knew when he came to work this morning there was going to be a surprise waiting for him, just as there had been the previous April Fools day, when his office was transformed into a janitor's closet. This year's surprise came in the form of a tranquil garden, complete with palm trees, a bubbling fountain, and a garden gnome. The hackers responsible are still unknown, but we think the gnome knows more than he is saying.

Rimless weelRecruitment for CSAIL's UROP program, also know to students as "Hacker Heaven" is currently underway. The program recruits talented undergraduate students from around MIT to work on research projects for the summer, under the supervision of PI's in the lab.
There will be an informal information session for both students and PI's interested in participating in the program on Monday, April 1st from 3:30pm to 5pm in room G449(Kiva/Patil). The meeting is a great opportunity for students to learn about summer positions and we encourage all to attend. See UROP Opportunities here.
