Day Job

For his day job, John Astad works in marine transfer operations, while maintaining regulatory compliance in the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Marine Transportation Acts, between barges, tanker ships, at the marine terminal on the Texas Gulf Coast as a Loading Master-PIC. Over ten years experience in the maritime industry which also includes merchant mariner on ocean going barges, tanker ships, and offshore supply vessels.
