Day 1 for New Zealand was not good nor bad ,we can rather say that it was see-saw like for them.If McCullum hadnt gave his wicket in 89th over New Zealand would have felth that they had been strong on day 1 but with 282/6 still they can hope they had good start.How,McCullum,Flemming and Taylor all were superb with bat and Taylor still no pitch New Zealand can hope for score 400 plus. How was the top score with 92 ,he will disappointed from himself as he failed to score a glorious hundred.
