It's going to be a Linux world, yes we agree. But...
This site's purpose is to bring to light a lot of issues that Linux users run into that they shouldn't run into: Issues that occur for both exprienced and new Linux users. It also focuses somewhat on issues that severely need attention in order for the Linux Desktop (GNOME, KDE, etc) to become as much as it can be.
We are not against Linux - quite the contrary! - but we are over the misinformation, lies and downright idiocy that surrounds and impedes the progress of a lot of Linux's Desktops, Applications and Subsystems.
This is not so much a forum about a particular program that you can't get to work, but rather its about niggling and aged issues with Linux components that are utterly essential tools for the bulk of users. These include such things as Desktops (KDE, GNOME, etc), Subsystems (CUPS, Sound, etc), and important Applications (the Mozilla family, Xine/Mplayer, etc). These issues are inhibiting the ability of people to take up Linux as a serious Desktop solution.
These issues must be fixed, and they will be, but this site exists to draw attention to some basic things that need fixing that are far more important and urgent than any 'feature'.
This site is very much about solutions and going forward.
This site has absolutely nothing todo with linuxsucks.org which is a suspected microsoft-backed website, we are all for Linux and the improvement of Linux.
