Text-o-possum / Your Psycho Girlfriend
One of those mammal-machine hybrids is the text-o-possum (we meet him around 02:27). The left rear leg of this taxidermied texter hides a bluetooth keyboard projector that shoots ASCII into the ether with red lasers. No, really.
In part two of today's episode (around 3:09), a Boing Boing operative tests out the text-o-possum's capabilities for enterprise computing in an urban business environment. A elderly lady walks up and pets text-o-possum, then all hell breaks loose. And by hell, we mean comedy.

i think it needs more stability, perhaps suction cups on the feet?
Oh my god!
Funny stuff!
i think this is my favorite one so far, nice work xeni
Lol--Ape Lad does it again! We're getting a little worried what with all teh hedgehogs--and now possums--going on as of late. Wait. R hedgehogs marsupials, too? Is there a theme going on here?
xeni, U R stunning in a tutu.
Seriously demented. In a GOOD way.
I love the double take when she mentioned crickets
And I trust this opossum is naturally deceased?
@Takuan: yes, it died of ROFLMAO
Xeni, the babydoll tutu looks like some deranged version of Josephine Baker. But the sound it makes as they smack heads is so very satisfying.
So explain to me the Text-O-Possum: is it pretty much just a stuffed possum with a Bluetooth text messenger built in? No, it doesn't have to be anything more; I just want to be certain there's not some feature I'm not seeing, like a speech synthesizer to make it speak your messages. That'd be like some fucked up cybernecro version of A Wind In The Willows.
@license farm: the dead possum has a thing on its rear leg that projects a keyboard using laser light, it communicates via bluetooth with any compatible PDA or laptop. I tried using it on my iPhone and could not get it to work, but we did set it up with a little iMac and were typing text with it. Crazy, but simple, and yes it works. The possum makes it awesome!
Yes, so I gather from the jingle. You going to post an mp3 of that so we can savor your pipes?
WOW! And I have been missing out on this BB TV until now... this is the first episode I've watched... great stuff...
I will have to post it out on my site, http://tubeforme.com/
I'm torn between this and "Compubeaver" for my favorite BBTV webisode.
Where can one get mannequin's these days? They are hard to come by in my area.
