In less than 100 days, the fate of many large whales will be decided by the International Whaling Commission. If Japan, Iceland and Denmark have their way, humpback, blue, fin and sperm whales will once again be ruthlessly hunted by modern whaling ships, armed with high powered harpoons and accompanied by factory ships.
