3CR has over 400 volunteers. Volunteers are the backbone of 3CR – from the volunteers who form the Management Committee, to the receptionists to volunteer programmers.
Why would you volunteer at 3CR?
- Be an independent programmer, providing
alternative news, analysis, debate and music
-
Be involved in an activist community
-
Meet like-minded people
-
Be part of the diversification of media
-
Play a decision-making role in an alternative
media outlet
Do you want to volunteer?
If yes, here are a few important points to consider:
- 3CR is a politically progressive station, facilitating community activism through independent media. Find out about our history. Volunteers need to agree with the general 3CR philosophy.
-
You need to listen to 3CR, especially if you have an idea for a new 3CR program. New programs are required to adhere to the 3CR philosophy AND differ to that which is currently on air.
