Press Conference at Tirahou Marae - 14th December 12pm

Tāmati Kruger and Peter Williams held a press conference today to reiterate Tūhoe grievances with the NZ Police for their behaviour during the raids in Ruātoki on October 15th.

A letter was sent to Police Commissioner Howard Broad at the beginning of November which he has largely ignored.

Peter Williams Q.C. says that if the Police Commissioner fails to respond there will be no option but to take this matter to court.

Tūhoe have said the door is still open for discussion.
