Public Transport

By Train:

Catch a train to Flinders Street Station. Next catch a tram to Docklands as detailed below.

By Tram:

Trams to Docklands depart from Flinders Street on a regular basis. Catch one of the following trams to the corner of Harbour Esplanade and Bourke Street. This trip takes approximately 15 minutes from the corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets.

  • Route 48: North Balwyn to New Quay Docklands
    Travels along Harbour Esplanade.
  • Route 70: Wattle Park to City
    Terminates at the corner of Bourke Street and Harbour Esplanade.
  • Free City Circle Tram
    Catch this tram from one of the specially marked stops on Flinders Street. This tram runs in both directions every ten minutes, seven days a week between 10.00 am and 6.00 pm (except Christmas Day and Good Friday), and during daylight saving extended hours, 10.00am-9.00pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
