PharmacoEconomics is the benchmark for practical authoritative
reviews of the application of health economics to disease
management outcomes and optimum drug therapy.
Aims and Scope
PharmacoEconomics aims to promote the development and
study of health economics as applied to rational drug therapy and
disease management. The Journal explores the growing
relationship between economic factors and clinical prescribing
decisions, providing a practical background to informed
prescribing and allocation of healthcare resources.
PharmacoEconomics concentrates on a highly structured
program of authoritative review articles, which apply economic
principles to clinical pharmacotherapeutics. In the Journal you will
find:
Adis PharmacoEconomic Drug Evaluations: a
state-of-the-art combination of scientific and economic
evaluation, practical relevance and independent credibility
Leading Articles or Current Opinion Articles in which
sometimes controversial issues are discussed and what's
new in therapeutics is presented
Balanced and objective Review Articles which provide
excellent reference, research and educational material
Original Research Articles: peer-reviewed articles on
current pharmacoeconomic and outcomes methodologies
and research.
