The Italian Journal of Pediatrics (Rivista Italiana di Pediatria), the 
official journal of the Italian Pediatric Society, publishes six issues 
per year (in English). Clinical and experimental work dealing with the 
whole field of pediatric medicine will be published as original 
articles, short communications or case reports. In addition, 
editorials, update articles, and letters to the Editor are also 
published.

Authors must state in the cover letter that the work submitted has not 
been previously published and is not being considered for publication 
elsewhere. Contributions must conform with the regulations regarding 
research ethics. 

Only papers prepared in strict conformity with the editorial norms 
outlined herein will be considered for publication. Acceptance is 
conditional upon a critical assessment by experts in the field, the 
implementation of any changes requested, and the final decision of the 
Editor.

Italian Journal of Pediatrics is available free of charge as an Open 
Access journal on the internet.
