CATTLE AND SHEEP OUTLOOK, a supplement to LIVESTOCK, DAIRY, AND POULTRY
MONTHLY, is published by the Economic Research Service, U.S. Department of
Agriculture, Washington, DC.  It contains detailed analysis and data
covering the outlook for cattle and sheep, focusing on current production,
slaughter, price, and trade statistics.

In 1997, ERS is expanding its publication LIVESTOCK, DAIRY, AND POULTRY
MONTHLY to include the information formerly contained in Cattle and Sheep
Outlook. Cattle and Sheep Outlook report will be discontinued in 1997.

The final Cattle and Sheep Outlook issue was published November 13, 1996.
