Regional Press Councils


A yearly publication that reports on the state of the press and the issues affecting media in Asia. Contributors are media practitioners from the region who gather for a conference to discuss selected issues that will be taken up in the magazine.

3 regional press councils to serve as a forum wherein the concerns and complaints of the public towards the press can be tackled.

CMFR wins international media award
The Manila-based Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility (CMFR) will be one of the recipients of this year’s Templeton Freedom Prize for Excellence in Promoting Liberty.
