EDITOR'S NOTE: I have made a correction on the headline but otherwise have left the text of this op-ed feature as written by the author.
The lone Bush supporter at Oklahoma State University's commencement last Saturday has been discovered as a multiple offence felon for pedophilia and giving minors drugs. George W. Bush gave the commencement address, which was protested by 1,000 concerned citizens critizing the state of the nation. It was his first and probably last visit to the state as president. This is damn near hilarious to me, but also very sad for the Bush crowd--79% of Oklahoma voted for Shrub in 2004, but the only person willing to support him at his first visit to the State is a horrible 'man.' related link: http://www.myemospace.com/osu/ped.html Feature continued on newswire >>
Anti-sovereignty organization One Nation United recently advented its 3-year anniversary with a televised article designed to whip up sentiment against First Nations within Oklahoma. A closer look reveals that One Nation United is an industry front group, applying pressure to Oklahoma elected officials to further a selfish agenda. related link: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/128408562 Feature continued on newswire >>

Halliburton has moved it's annual shareholder's meeting from Houston to Duncan, Ok. Protests have taken place in Houston for the last three years and moving the meeting to Oklahoma is not going to change that situation. Groups from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, California and Louisiana will come together in Duncan to tell Halliburton that they can run, but they can't hide, even in the heartland.
