Keep It Memorial Field!
Veterans Memorial Field in La Crosse, Wisconsin was dedicated at a naming ceremony in 1948.

UW-La Crosse signed a use agreement with the City of

La Crosse February 25, 1988, transferring ownership to the University for $1.

Point 4. of the use agreement states "It is further agreed that the name of the stadium shall be retained as "Veteran's Memorial Stadium".

Down but not out!!

11-3 Vote by LaCrosse City Council  in Favor of an Appeal of the Monument Case to the 7th U.S. Court of Appeals.

On February 2, 2004 Barbara Crabb once again decided that that the 10 commandments monument should not be allowed in La Crosse's Cameron Park.

Once again the city will appeal the decision.  Although the commandment backers claim to be Christian, I don't think religion actually has anything to do with it. They want to be in control and have no tolerance for people of other religions.  God is love, but love doesn't describe these commandment backers.

They support throwing the homeless out of their tents in La Crosse  and when we speak out against the war they are no where to be found.
